Employer information sessions and presentations can greatly enhance your on-campus recruitment effort. Sessions early in the semester raise student awareness about your organization, thereby increasing the number of resumes submitted for an interview. A session held the night before a recruiting date allows recruiters to present key information to all students on a schedule at once and to meet other interested students if you choose an open format.
All sessions require advance preparation, and employers arrange these sessions directly. Let us know, though, if we can help you develop your strategy for reaching students through information sessions. We will be happy to publicize your session in Cornell Handshake so please provide the college career office with the final details as soon as they are available.
